The First Bohemian Rhapsody Trailer is Here!

Bohemian Rhapsody Rami Malek Freddie Mercury Movie

Magnifico! The trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody has just been released and if the teaser is any indication, Queen's stellar rise to the top will be told just the way Freddie Mercury would have wanted it.

The Bohemian Rhapsody trailer for the upcoming Queen biopic just dropped (below) and it looks bloody unbelievable.

It first went off the rails in 2013, when Sacha Baron Cohen departed the iconic role of Freddie Mercury after his "warts and all" approach for the project was rejected by Queen guitarist Brian May.

And then the film faced further difficulties after director Bryan Singer was sacked, with Kick Ass helmsman Dexter Fletcher taking over. Fans of Queen can see Malek's attempt at capturing Mercury in the trailer below.

Rami Malek embodies Freddie Mercury, the legendary singer whose famous four-octave vocal range was something that few popular singers could achieve. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Singer was involved in on-set clashes with star Rami Malek, as well as actor Tom Hollander, who plays Queen manager Jim Beach in the film. Singer was ultimately fired from the film in early December, and the offices of his Bad Hat Harry production company were subsequently shut down on the 20th Century Fox lot.

Mercury's reaction: "I pity your wife if you think 6 minutes is forever!"

The synopsis adds: 'In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day'. And it features the involvement of fellow Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, keeping the story authentic and the tunes right.

It also stars Downton Abbey's Allen Leech, Game of Thrones' Aidan Gillen and Mike Myers.

Bohemian Rhapsody will be in cinemas from October 24.
