Actress  model Brigitte Nielsen is 54 and expecting her fifth child

Brigitte Nielsen is ready to give motherhood another shot.

The Danish actress shared the news in an Instagram post, with the caption, "family getting larger #me #family #brigittenielsen #babybump".

Brigitte Nielsen, ex-wife of Sylvester Stallone and ex-girlfriend of rapper Flavor Flav, is pregnant with her fifth child.

She married Italian TV producer Mattia Dessi, 39, in 2006, and this will be their first child together.

Nielsen is the mother of four sons, ranging in age from 34 to 23. Stallone was her second husband.

Her third marriage, to Sebastian Copeland, lasted from 1990 until 1992, while she was Wednesday to Raoul from 1993 until 2005.

A number of women replied to Nielsen's initial post, stating that they were inspired by her example.

Mattia is also Brigtte's fifth husband, after she was previously married to Raoul Meyer from 1993 to 2003, Sebastian Copeland from 1990 to 1992, Sylvester Stallone from 1985 to 1987 and Kasper Winding from 1983 to 1984. Aside from her social media messages, the actor has not publicly commented on the pregnancy.

The two photos show a heavily pregnant Brigitte in a beige dress posing with her hands on her huge baby bump. In 2008 she took part in Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew, which saw her and other celebrities deal with recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
