Ocasio-Cortez reveals 'unfurnished' DC pad during Instagram live video

House Representatives Liz Cheney and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez traded barbs on Twitter over knowledge of the 22nd Amendment and the Constitution

A New York Democrat is pushing back against his own party's growing support for the Green New Deal, revealing in an interview that he does not agree with the "massive socialist" ideas in the deal. Rand Paul and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have found common ground on Syria.

"I believe that my constituents will be impacted - they already have been really, by stronger hurricanes, by oscillations in climate and weather that impact farming and agriculture", Gaetz said. "There is no mechanism by which we can make buildings and cows and airplanes and cars all illegal and still have a thriving economy, but we can become more efficient and more effective and we can stop other countries like China from stealing America's innovations and then benefiting from them". The Green Real Deal, "rejects regulation as the driving force of reform", and instead relies on the work of the private sector to better the environment.

Gaetz urged deregulation of the energy sector as well as federal lands to enable research and development of renewable energy in the U.S. He also called for a modernization of the nation's electric grid, and proposed market-sustainable incentives for solar energy. "The Green New Deal isn't a plan".

"The Green Real Deal is a love letter to the American innovator, and it is a real serious plan to address climate change", Gaetz said.

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez confused countless Americans this week; posting a freaky rant on social media while assembling furniture that warned the USA has just "12 years left" before "the world ends".

"There's no evidence that a carbon tax will be copied by the world, there's a lot of evidence that American innovation gets copied, not as much evidence that America's regulations get copied", he said.

The Washington Examiner reported that some centrists are backing the deal.
