In my world, a good guacamole involves a good deal of garlic, not to much of course, but I like it when you taste it a bit. But that doesn’t make it a good thing to bring to work, because I may not think of my colleagues as my best friends, but I don’t want to chase them away.
So this is my ‘work proof’ version of guacamole, with the nice flavour of avocado, but minus the ‘smell’ of garlic.
- 1 avocado
- 1 tomato
- Lemon juice
- Dried chilie
Cut your avocado in half an remove the pit, don’t trow it away though! If you want to keep your guacamole from getting brown in the refrigerator you put the pit in 🙂
Mash up your avocado a bit, but leave some chunks in, you don’t want babyfood.
Cut your tomato in quarters and remove the seeds, cut the tomato in little pieces and mix them through your avocadomash. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper and dried chilie to flavour (keep in mind the distance between you and your co-workers).
I had mine with some nice dark bread, some tomato and cucumber.
