Ok, I found out something last week: my Mr. doesn’t like banana’s!
What’s not to love about banana’s? You can use them to make smoothies, ice-cream, banana bread, banana muffins…. I mean, countless options. But, he’s an openminded guy (one of the things I love about him) so he offered my the chance to change his mind about banana’s. So, I decided on baking cookies, using some of the other things he loves: peanut butter and chocolate.
I kept it simple, since I didn’t want to push away the banana to much, but I added just enough sweetness to make him fall in love with them (I hoped).
What do you need (9 cookies)
- 100 gr. of banana (mashed)
- 75 gr. of oatmeal
- 60 gr. of peanut butter
- 20 ml of agave
- chocolate sprinkles
- pinch of salt
Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Mix all the ingredients together and mix well. Use an ice-cream-scoop to make nice large blobs of dough of a lined baking tray. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Leave out to cool or eat while still warm.
These aren’t vegan since I used milk-chocolate sprinkles. But you can make them vegan by using vegan chocolate.
The Mr. approved… ❤
