Good morning sun shines!! Time for some breakfast to get this weekend started!!
So first I wanted to make Banana Oat Baked French Toast from Running with Spoons. But when I woke up this morning I really didn’t feel like banana and bread. So instead of making that breakfast I made this really taste Carrot Cake Oatmeal. With the added carrot it’s nice and fresh and the walnuts add an extra crunch.
What do you need? (1 serving)
- 1 cup of plant-based milk
- half a cup of fast oats
- 50 grams of shredded carrot
- few walnuts
- cacao powder
Cook the oatmeal for a few minutes until it’s done to your tasting. Add the cacao powder at the end. Transfer into a bowl and top off with the carrots and the walnuts.
